# Spanr

> Spanr (spanr.in) is cloud software for Indian automobile workshops and spare parts businesses. One system covers workshop job cards, spare parts stock with rack locations, GST billing with e-invoice and e-way bill, and Tally-style double-entry accounts. Prices are on https://spanr.in/#pricing and exclude GST.

Spanr is sold to three kinds of business, each switching on only the modules it needs:

- Spare parts shop: Spares + Accounts.
- Independent workshop: Workshop + Accounts (parts bought per job).
- Workshop with a spare store: Workshop + Spares + Accounts.

Key facts:

- Accounting follows Indian conventions: Tally group hierarchy, Dr/Cr, financial year April to March. Every document posts a balanced voucher; posted vouchers are corrected by reversal, never edited.
- GST: CGST/SGST or IGST from the place of supply, reverse charge, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B JSON export, GSTR-2B reconciliation, e-invoice (IRN and QR) and e-way bill through a GST Suvidha Provider. GST rates are dated master data kept by each business.
- Workshop: job cards, estimate revisions approved by the customer with a one-time code, labour packages, outside work with TDS, insurance split billing, appointments and bays, inspections, NPS, warranty and rework, loyalty points, maintenance contracts, WhatsApp reminders.
- Spares: OEM and alternate part numbers, rack/shelf/bin locations, batches and serial numbers, moving average or FIFO valuation, purchase and sales documents with returns, barcode labels, opt-in stock sharing between businesses.
- Onboarding: Tally XML import of groups, ledgers, opening balances and pending bills; Excel import of items and opening stock; sample data for trials.
- Each business has its own address ({business}.spanr.in). Data is stored in India and isolated per business at the database level (SQL Server row-level security).
- Works in the browser and installs as an app on Android and iPhone.
