Who we are
Spanr ("we") provides workshop, spare parts and accounting software to businesses ("customers"). For the business records a customer keeps in Spanr (its own customers, vehicles, invoices and accounts), the customer decides what is recorded and why; we process it on the customer's behalf.
What we collect
- Account details: the name and email of each user, a hashed password and, if set, a hashed MPIN.
- Business records: what a business enters: parties, phone numbers, vehicles, job cards, photos, invoices and accounts.
- Usage and security logs: sign-ins, IP addresses and actions taken by support staff.
- Billing: subscription invoices. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
How we use it
To run the service, keep it secure, send messages a business asks us to send (estimate approvals, reminders, invoices) and bill subscriptions. We do not sell data or use business records for advertising.
Where it is kept
Data is stored on servers in India. Each business's records are isolated from every other business at the database level.
Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent. If your data was entered by a business that uses Spanr, ask that business first; we will help them respond. To reach our grievance contact, write to hello@spanr.in.
Retention
Business records are kept while the account is active and for the period tax law requires books to be kept. A business can export its data at any time.
Changes
